Wild Edibles Newsletter 2-8-2013

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers!

The snow storm that is coming to the Northeast is going to put a damper on things for a while. However we stocked up on seafood this weekend so you will be ready for any surge of business caused by the storm.

Local caught Yellowfin Tuna is looking beautiful this weekend. Look at the size of this one. We cut Tuna according to your needs.

We have Halibut from Nova Scotia available. Halibut feed on squid, crustaceans, and small fish giving the meat a mild and delicate flavor.

Wild Striped Bass season is on in certain states right now and we are getting in some great stock from Maryland and Rhode Island.

Littleneck Clams are common to the North East. They are great for a variety of recipes. You can cook them with pasta, steam them in wine, bake them, or just enjoy them raw. These versatile clams are great for any appetizer or as a main course.

We will be open tomorrow. Contact us at Wild Edibles to find out what is available for the weekend.
