7.12.13

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

It's time to stock up for the weekend.  The weather is supposed to be beautiful.  That should fill up the seats.  We are expecting to receive Wild Striped Bass from Massachusetts tonight.  This will help keep the price down and also give us a nice variety of sizes.  It looks like Halibut is going to be a problem this weekend.  We recommend you pre-order them.  The fisheries will reopen next week and the price should come back down.  Beautiful Jumbo Black Sea Bass from Massachusetts is here and we have more on the way.  Wild King Salmon is coming in again tonight; but we aren't sure if we will be getting more Sockeye.

Cape May, New Jersey has been sending us terrific U/10 and 10/20 Scallops and we expect more of the same tonight.  Monkfish is getting harder and harder to come by.  Please leave a substitute if you plan to order any.  We weren't able to track down any Mahi Mahi.  We are hopeful that we can find more, but we can't be sure.  We are sure however, that if we do find some, it will be expensive.  Beautiful and big day boat Steak Cod came in from Iceland.  These are a can't miss and have a nice low price compared to the fish from New England.  Red Grouper and Red Snapper both look fantastic coming out of Florida.  We also stocked up on 16/20 Fresh Gulf Shrimp.
