Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,
We brought in some wonderful items this morning. Local Tuna of all grades and Swordfish are readily available for a change. We also brought in more Local Mahi Mahi. All of these fish are caught between North Carolina and New Jersey and are always super fresh. Albacore came in again this morning too. The U/10 and 10/20 Scallops from Barnegat Bay, NJ are perfect today.
We are bringing in more Icelandic Dayboat Cod tonight. These fish are usually still in rigor when they get here and range from 10 to 14 pounds each. Gorgeous Dayboat Halibut came in from the east coast of Canada this morning. They range from 10 to 40 pounds each.
Blackfish that weigh between 3 and 6 pounds came in from Massachusetts. Black Sea Bass from Boston is down in price again. Whitebait from the Great Lakes showed up again this morning after pulling a disappearing act last week. Golden Tilefish from Florida look great at 6 to 8 pounds. We also brought in more Grey Tilefish from North Carolina that are a bit smaller at 4 to 6 pounds each.
