3.15.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

It's time to get your weekend menu figured out.  We have great staple items and brought in some stuff that will make great specials.  More Local Octopus came in this morning and they are nice as they were earlier in the week.  Local Swordfish looks absolutely beautiful today.  Bloody and large Local Monkfish tails arrived this morning.  Jumbo Porgies from New Jersey are a nice option.  We brought in more gorgeous Dayboat 10/20 and U/10 Scallops which are also from New Jersey.

Jumbo Black Sea Bass is readily available and the price is set to come down any day now once Massachusetts reopens.  Gloucester Cod looks lovely this morning and are 8 to 12 pounds each.  Boston Mackerel is available again today too.

Weakfish from Virginia is incredibly fresh today.  The fish are 4 to 6 pounds.  Dayboat East Coast Canadian Halibut are anywhere from 10 to 50 pounds each and couldn't be fresher.  We finally tracked down #2 Tuna.  We're hopeful that we will have more going into the weekend.

Portuguese Sardines came in this morning as scheduled.  It looks like Mahi Mahi and Red Snapper are going to be a problem this weekend.  Please plan accordingly.  Beautiful Razor Clams are in again from Maine.  Fresh 16/20 Gulf Shrimp are flawless as always.

Have a great day.
