3.13.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

Wonderful items arrived this morning for your customers to enjoy.  We brought in more Fresh Local Octopus from Long Island.  They are about 2 to 3 pounds each and incredibly fresh.  U/10 and 10/20 Dayboat Scallops are here from New Jersey.  We are hopeful that we are getting a delivery tonight from our friends that fish from North Carolina to New Jersey and bring us only the freshest Tuna and Swordfish around.

Turbot arrived from Chile this morning.  They are 2/3 and 3/4 sizes.  We have some Portuguese Sardines available today as well.  Gorgeous 5 pound Australian Hiramasa is a can't miss today.

Halibut is going to be tight for the next few days.  We are trying to track down some steady suppliers.  Sow Hake came in from Boston this morning and couldn't be fresher.  Whelks are in from Maine.  We haven't seen them in a while and they are always a nice idea for a special.

A lot of our southern fish is getting tough to find.  We aren't able to find any Grouper, Mahi Mahi or Tilefish.  However, we did bring in Medium and Large Stone Crab Claws and absolutely beautiful 16/20 Fresh Gulf Shrimp.  Sturgeon is also in from Florida and looks terrific.  Moving up the coast, Virginia and Delaware continue to flood our warehouse with Wild Striped Bass everyday.

Have a great day.
