2.28.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

Hopefully this lovely weather continues and it draws people out to eat on a Tuesday night.  We brought in some great stuff this morning.  More Wild Striped Bass from Virginia keeps coming in daily.  We have some smaller fish, but the majority are 12 to 18 pounds.  Delaware opens it's Wild Striped Bass season in a few days.  More Golden Tile Fish, also from Virginia, is available if we need to get them.  Blue Crabs from Maryland came in this morning and are nice and lively.  Gorgeous Swordfish from New Jersey is here today.  New Jersey also sent us more 10/20 and U/10 Scallops.  The U/10's have been hard to come by lately, but hopefully we will see them more regularly.

Guatemalan Mahi Mahi is set to arrive tonight.  They are head off and usually weigh about 10 to 14 pounds.  Escolar from Ecuador is here.  It's a really big fish so we will cut you whatever size you need.  Beautiful 3/4 Chilean Turbot is available as well.

Jumbo Black Sea Bass continues to look like a great option for a special.  They are 3 to 5 pounds and come to us from Boston.  Gloucester Cod is a can't miss item today.  The are absolutely beautiful and are 8 to 12 pounds each.

10 pound Sturgeon from Florida are incredibly fresh.  Dungeness Crabs from California are climbing out of the tank.  Unfortunately, we still haven't been able to track down any Lump or Jumbo Lump Crabmeat.  We have All-Leg and Pasteurized to sub.

Have a great day.
