2.23.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

It's time to stock up on everything you'll need for another busy weekend.  We are very well stocked on wonderful items to help you through.  Local Swordfish looks gorgeous today.  Wild Striped Bass prices are set to drop a bit with the delivery we are getting tomorrow morning.  The fish are coming in from Virginia and have been incredibly fresh lately.  Big, bloody Monkfish Tails are in from Long Island.  They are anywhere from 5 to 9 pounds each.  New Jersey loaded us up on Scallops.  10/20 and U/10 sizes are both available and should remain in stock for the weekend.  Lump and Jumbo Lump Crabmeat appears to be a problem this weekend.  We are trying to track down more.

Dayboat East Coast Canadian Halibut is set to arrive again tonight.  The fish have been terrific and we expect more great stuff this time around.  We got our hands on some Large Black Sea Bass that are 1 to 2 pounds.  We also have more Jumbo Black Sea Bass from Boston that are 3 to 5 pounds each.  Sow Hake from Massachusetts came in this morning and couldn't be fresher.

Our weekly shipment of Portuguese Sardines arrived as scheduled.  We should have some more for tomorrow too.  We won't have much, so order them ahead of time.  Razor Clams from Maine look like a nice option today.  Ecuadorian Escolar looks beautiful.  The fish is quite large.  We will cut whatever size you want.  Chilean Turbot looks terrific at 3 to 4 pounds.

8 to 12 pound Golden Tilefish came in from Florida again.  Red Grouper looks nice.  We have plenty, so order away.  Fresh 16/20 Gulf Shrimp are available today as well.  The smallest Red Snapper we were able to get are 2 pounds.  The Large Black Sea Bass will make a great substitute.

Have a great day.
