3.5.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

We are starting a new week with some bright sunny skies which are supposed to hold up all week.  Make sure you are stocked up on what you'll need to feed everyone that ventures outside.  10/20 Scallops from New Jersey look lovely this morning.  We have some Local #1 and 2+ Tuna available.  We aren't seeing any #2 unfortunately.  Local 2 to 4 pound John Dory is nice and fresh today.  We are starting to see our first Wild Striped Bass from Delaware and we couldn't be happier with them.  They are 8 to 20 pounds each.

Texas sent us more 4 to 6 pound Redfish.  They are beautiful.  Fresh 16/20 Gulf Shrimp from Florida are terrific as always.  Florida also sent us 2 to 4 and 4 to 6 pound Red Snappers that look great and have bright red gills.

We are set to receive more 3/4 Turbot from Chile tonight.  Unfortunately, it looks like All-Leg Crabmeat is all that will be available.  We are getting a big shipment of East and West Coast Oysters for tomorrow morning.  We are starting to see more and more Soft-Shell Crabs available.  They are a mix of Whale and Jumbo sizes.

Have a great day.
