3.21.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

With record breaking temperatures heading our way, you better get ready for a busy few days leading up to the weekend.  We are still very well stocked on Wild Striped Bass from Virginia and Delaware.  The fish are between 8 and 20 pounds.  Jumbo Black Sea Bass is running strong as well and are in from Boston.  We have U/10 Scallops with Roe from Massachusetts.  We don't have many, so please order them in advance.  More Razor Clams came our way from Maine and look delicious as always.  We are hoping to get our hands on more Local Blowfish Tails tonight too.

Jumbo Soft-Shell Crabs are available.  You know it was a mild winter when we're seeing these guys in the middle of March.  Fresh 16/20 Gulf Shrimp are set to come in tonight.  These shrimp are always amazing quality.  Golden Tilefish seems to be back up and running after pulling a disappearing act last week.  They are 8 to 12 pounds each and coming to us from Florida.

East Coast Canadian Halibut is coming in tonight.  These are 2 day fish.  This means the boat goes out, catches these 10 to 50 pounds beauties and sends them straight our way.  It doesn't get any fresher than that.  West Coast Halibut season is starting to get going.  We should start seeing fish any day now.

Panamanian Red Grouper looks like a nice option this morning.  They are 5 pounds and up.  The price is down a bit and we can give them to you at $5.95/lb.  New Zealand Pink Snappers are coming in tonight.  They are 2 to 3 pounds each.  16 to 20 ounce Lobster Tails from Australia look great.  We are also set to get our shipment of Portuguese Sardines tonight for delivery tomorrow morning.
