8.2.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

It's time to get your weekend menu lined up.  We brought in a lot of great items to help you plan it out.  Wild Striped Bass prices continue to fall.  The fish look super fresh and are coming from Massachusetts.  U/10 and 10/20 Scallops are flawless and are a mix from Boston and Barnegat Bay, New Jersey.  It looks like Swordfish is going to be a little tight this weekend.  I'd recommend ordering in advance just to be safe.  Local Tuna looks wonderful this morning.

We brought in more of that gorgeous Grey Tilefish from North Carolina.  These fish average about 5 pounds each.  Day boat Halibut from waters off Nova Scotia, Canada continue to impress.  They range in size from 10 to 40 pounds and quality is unmatched.  Wild Sockeye Salmon and Wild King Salmon are still coming in daily.  The Sockeye Salmon are about 5 pounds and come from Alaska.  The King Salmon are closer to 10 pounds and come from California.

Our weekly shipment of Sardines from Portugal arrived as scheduled and look great.  More Mahi Mahi from Guatemala is set to arrive tonight.  These fish will be head off and gutted and we are always happy with them.  Florida sent us the usual suspects this morning.  Red Snapper ranging in size from 2 to 8 pounds look nice.  Red Grouper are 5 to 10 pounds.  16/20 Fresh Gulf Shrimp are perfect as usual.
