2.13.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

I hope you are all set with your specials for Valentine's Day.  We are well stocked on everything you will need.  If you plan to order caviar, please get us the order today so we can make sure we get it in time.  Local fish looks terrific today.  We brought in Local Tuna, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, and a few Albacore Tuna.  They all came from the same boats that fish from North Carolina to New Jersey.  They always send us amazing stuff.  Fresh Local Octopus came in this morning as well.  Each piece is approximately 2 pounds.

We are seeing big Shad Roe that look great.  Boston sent us lovely 10/20 and U/10 Scallops.  Sweet Maine Shrimp is set to arrive overnight for delivery Tuesday.  Wild Striped Bass from Virginia and Maryland keep coming in daily.  We have them from 5 to 8 pounds and 10+.  East Coast Canadian Halibut couldn't be fresher today.  They are from a 2 day trip which is about as fresh as it gets.  We have two kinds of Cod available today.  Dayboat Icelandic Cod is nice as always and head on Gloucester Cod are weighing in around 10 pounds each.

Gorgeous Golden Tilefish from Florida is here.  They are about 8 to 12 pounds.  Flawless Corvina from Panama is a can't miss at 6 to 8 pounds per fish.  We also brought in some King Mackerel.  We usually pick these up whenever they look really nice.  They are about 5 pounds.

Have a great day.
