5.16.12

Good Morning Chefs and Buyers,

Beautiful Local Swordfish keeps pouring in here and the price is down this week.  Mahi Mahi is also coming in from Local fishing grounds.  They average about 15 pounds with the head on.  4 to 6 pound Sea Trout look like a great choice for a special.  Albacore Tuna is still available today too.  The fish average about 30 pounds each.

Black Sea Bass from Boston continues to look fantastic and the price is still down.  Blackfish, also from Massachusetts, couldn't be fresher and weigh between 3 and 6 pounds.  We have both Spanish and Boston Mackerel available today.  Unfortunately, it appears Razor Clams won't be available for a few days due to the lousy weather we've been having.

Tomorrow is our weekly delivery of Sardines from Portugal.  They are always lovely but tend to fly out of here.  Please order them early.  Red Grouper from Florida continues to come in super fresh.  They range in size from 5 to 10 pounds.  Siberian Sturgeon that is farm raised in Florida look flawless as always.  Farmed King Salmon from New Brunswick, Canada are finally coming in regularly.  We don't have many, so please order them in advance.

Have a great day.
